Deformed Bar

The production control of Tata Steel (Thailand) has been emphasized as an important factor for quality control starting from examining the radioactive substances of scrap before entering the production process according to ISO 9001 standards. In terms of quality control system, the company has received laboratory accreditation in accordance with ISO 17025 to ensure that the products are of standard quality and safety for customers. Besides, the company is certified with the International Standard for Environmental Management System – ISO 14001 and occupational Health and Safety Assessment Management System - OHSAS 18001. We produce deformed bars according to TIS 24-2559 (2016), grade SD 40 and SD 50 with the standard length of 10 and 12 m.

Tata Tiscon SD 50 is the new generation high strength reinforcement bar from Tata Steel (Thailand). Tata Tiscon SD 50 is produced using “Tempcore Process” which gives the best combination result of strength and ductility.

Tata Tiscon SD 50 rebars are produced through tempcore process wich increases high strength to the bar using the technique of thermomechanical treatment system (T.M.T). The microstructure of the bar consists of a combination of strong outer layer of tempered martensite and a ductile core of ferrite-pearlite. This is what gives Tata Tiscon SD 50 rebar an excellent quality for modern construction.
