Mr. Saroj Boonma, Department Manager – Occupational Health Safety and Environment, the representative of The Siam Iron and Steel (2001) Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of Tata Steel (Thailand) received Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2019 for the role model of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Management in “National level” (Gold Award) for the 1st year from Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour at Impact Exhibition and Convention Center , Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. The award has been given to companies with labor management systems that focus on safety and environment for the employees that have committed to the policy of the Ministry of Labor to promote capability through the development of safety standards of Thai enterprises.
