September 19 2019, Tata Steel (Thailand) Group received Green Mining Award and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR-DPIM Continuous) Award 2019 organized by the Department of Primary Industries and Mines, Ministry of Industry to reward entrepreneurs or socially responsible organizations, operate environmentally friendly and continuously promote community participation in the area. Furthermore, Mr. Arun Kumar Chowdhary Vice President – Chonburi Plant was a representative of N.T.S. Steel Group Plc., Mr.Yothin Jaiaksorn representative of The Siam Construction Steel Co.,ltd. received award from Mr.Teerayuth Wanichang Vice Minister for Industry, Ministry of Industry at The Emerald Hotel Bangkok.
For this year, NTS received Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR-DPIM Continuous) Award 2019 2nd year in level Excellence and SISCO received CSR-DPIM Continuous for the first year in level Excellence. In addition, Ms. Thananya Thamrongkittikul Division manager of Community Relation of NTS received the Outstanding Personnel Award for Social Responsibility CSR-DPIM of Labor/ Occupational Health and Safety. Moreover, NTS and SCSC received Green Mining Award 2019 of Metallurgical Plant.
