Tata Steel (Thailand) arranged “Steel Volunteer to Help Flood Victims” at Wat Taku Community, Bang Ban District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

November 18th, 2021, Tata Steel (Thailand) arranged a “Steel Volunteer to Help Flood Victims” activity at Wat Taku Community, Bang Ban District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Led by Mr. Sirorote Matemanosak, Vice President – Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, volunteer employees of TSTH and SISCO visited 525 households, 1659 persons from 9 villages where they are experiencing a flood, and donated Tata drinking water for consumption.

Bang Ban Subdistrict, Bang Ban District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province had experienced heavy flooding and lasted for two months. Villagers have to live and cook in tents on the streets, and their living is so difficult. Currently, the water has started to recede. Villagers are rushing to clean their houses, temples, schools, and buildings. The floodwater is beginning to recede and return to the normal situation within two weeks. Tata Steel would like to support and stand by all communities who have suffered from flooding through this crisis together.
